Hi Troop 202,

Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to my last workday - it was a resounding success. This Saturday (5/28), I will be hosting the 2nd phase of my Eagle workday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at my house rain or shine. For this part, we will be pre-drilling connections, fabricating a box, and pre-assembling all necessary parts for a kiosk that will be made during the 3rd and final workday. 3 scout volunteers and 1 adult volunteer will be needed for this workday. If you are available, please sign up on the Troop Website and send me an email at will27012@gmail.com to confirm.

TROOP 202 EXCEEDS BBQ SELLING GOALS!!

Posted on May 9 2016 - 8:45am

Troop 202 exceeded its selling objectives for the 2016 BBQ Fundraiser!! The troop generated over $7500 in gross sales and/or donations and over $3000 in net proceeds. The proceeds will be used to help fund outing activities as well as purchase new equipment for the troop. This year, 747 tickets were sold, an increase of 16% versus last year, and 30% versus two years ago. Considering that other BBQ events were occurring the day before in our “sweet spot” target market, this is a truly successful outcome. The primary success for the BBQ is due to the tremendous preselling effort by the troop. In fact, of all plates served at the BBQ, a whopping 81% were due to scouts who sold tickets in advance of the event. Of the troop total scout roster, 63 scouts presold one or more tickets and/or secured cash donations.

Order of the Arrow Spring Inductions Transportation signup

Posted on May 3 2016 - 9:25pm

For ordeal candidates and OA members headed to Durant, we will be travelling as a troop to Spring Inductions at Camp Durant.

Note that in accordance with BSA policy, scouts MAY NOT drive to troop or OA outings. I realize this may come as a change to some, however we have been in violation of existing policy, and that creates an unacceptable liability situation.
